Our Story

Three decades on the
rooftops of New York.

Since 1996, from a yard in Queens, we have carried Spanish clay tile up ladder and scaffold onto the finest homes of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut — laying each roof by hand, as the old country always has.

Since 1996

A family trade,
brought to New York.

Our founder learned the roof the old way — tile by tile, under an older man’s eye, on the sun-warmed rooftops of the Mediterranean. He brought that trade to Queens in 1996 and never set it down.

For nearly thirty years we have done one thing, and done it completely: the installation and supply of premium European clay and ceramic tile for homes meant to be passed on. Thousands of roofs later, the work is unchanged — measured, patient, and laid entirely by hand.

Our Craft

The work behind
the roof.

No machines. No shortcuts. Only the slow discipline that has kept the great roofs of the Mediterranean standing for centuries.

01
Hand-Laid

Every tile placed by a craftsman — never a machine.

02
Fired Clay

Terracotta that deepens with the years, catching the light like the old country.

03
Generational

Three generations of skill standing on every ridge we build.

The Partnership

A lineage of tile
from Alicante.

Our tile is fired by La Escandella, in Alicante, Spain — a house that has clad the roofs of Europe for generations.

Their kilns give us the profiles and colors we build with: terracotta that ages like the villas of the coast, chosen for homes intended to become landmarks. The same clay, the same craft — carried from the Spanish Mediterranean to the streets of New York.

The Commission

Continue the tradition.

Every roof begins with a visit to your home and an honest assessment. We take on a limited number each season — and give each the years it deserves.
